JOB DESCRIPTION:Coverage:- General orthopedics
- Minimum requirements: 10-14day
- call coverage. Active NM license
- These shifts are not in house call, but do cover call for 3 ER locations.
- Total joints, sports med, trauma or any peds ortho?
- All preferred.
- Willing to see some basic hand cases.
- Peds cases would need to meet adult anesthesia dosing requirements.
- Any specific procedures needed?
- General ortho surgical procedures
- Clinic and call schedule?
- True peds cases would be sent to UNMH
Procedures:
General Orthopedics:
- Non-Surgical
- Surgical
- Arthroscopy
- Total Joint replacement
- Hip
- Knee
- Other (excludes hip and knee)
- Joint revision or repair
- Shoulder
- Hand -basic hand/wrist/elbow
- Tendon release/repair
- Peripheral nerve surgery
