Qualifications

• Completed at least three years of an Emergency Medicine residency program, or four years if applicable.
• Possession of a current Illinois state medical license and DEA certification required.
• Board eligible or board certified in Emergency Medicine is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced medical environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct emergency medical care to patients in a Level II Trauma Center.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to manage patient flow and ensure high-quality treatments.
• Handle moderate acuity cases with a focus on timely interventions and patient safety.
• Supervise and mentor resident physicians and other medical staff as required.
• Engage in continuous education and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
