Job DescriptionPhysician Assistant Summary: The Physician Assistant provides the patient with cost effective care in a competent manner, to diagnose and treat illnesses and disorders consistent with medical protocols established with the collaborating physician.
Hours: We offer flexible schedules with both part time and full time opportunities. General daytime hours Monday - Friday and at least one late night per week.
Position Responsibilities/Duties: - Provide complete medical examines to determine general health condition
- Order and interpret tests as needed.
- Diagnose and treat illnesses by determining a plan of action by collaborating with your supervising Provider.
- Administer or prescribe treatment and drugs.
- Providing patient counseling and education consistent with the direction of the supervising Physician.
- Adhere to the medical staff policies and procedures.
Fills in when needed by co-workers and is on call at times
Experience and Skills- Master's degree from an accredited college or university
- 1 year experience, 2-4 years preferred
- NJ Physician Assistant license, DEA, and CPR
- Experience working in a practice environment, community health experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Bi-Lingual (Spanish) preferred
