Summary: We are seeking an experienced, motivated and highly collaborative Physician Assistant (PA) to join our ambulatory Gynecology Oncology service. This is an excellent opportunity for a PA who thrives in a collaborative but autonomous setting and is comfortable seeing patients in an independent capacity within a shared service model, with appropriate physician support and escalation pathways.
In this role, the APP will manage a full spectrum of Gynecology Oncology visit types with MD collaboration, allowing for autonomy with built in clinical and professional support.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and follow patients within a wide variety of Gyn Onc clinical diagnoses.
- Contribute to a flexible practice model that is designed to support future growth and evolving clinical needs
- Align with an organization where PAs have mentorship and support within the Center for Advanced Practice where Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) are integral members, not an afterthought
Who We're Looking For:- Candidates must be Board Certified as a PA-C, with a current, unrestricted applicable New York State License.
- Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of ambulatory GYN or Oncology experience, although highly motivated new graduates will be considered.
- Excellent communication skills are a must, in addition to strong clinical judgment, and the demonstration to work effectively in a high-acuity environment as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Candidates must have BLS and ACLS
