Join MOTION Suffern and grow your outpatient orthopedic career with a collaborative, highly respected team offering 30-minute appointments, built-in documentation time, $1,000 in annual CEU support, and a one-year mentorship program for new graduates. As part of the HSS Rehabilitation Network, you’ll treat a dynamic caseload spanning orthopedics, sports, post-surgical, vestibular, and geriatric rehabilitation in a clinic known for exceptional care and clinical excellence. Conveniently located off Route 59 in Montebello, the clinic is situated in a vibrant Rockland County medical hub near Good Samaritan Hospital and surrounding communities.

 

Job Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday (40 hours per week): Monday and Wednesday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM; Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM.

Responsibilities

As a PT, You’ll Achieve Success By:

  • Applying your clinical reasoning to assess movement dysfunction and identify underlying causes through patient history and physical examination.
  • Collaboratively developing and adjusting evidence-based plans of care that reflect each patient’s goals, needs, and lifestyle.
  • Delivering skilled interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities, to improve function and reduce pain.
  • Tracking meaningful patient outcomes and adjusting your approach based on progress and clinical presentation.
  • Serving as a trusted resource and advocate for your patients throughout their recovery journey.
Qualifications

Physical Therapist Requirements: 

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (or ability to obtain in the state of practice)
  • Passion for evidence-based, patient centered care
  • CPR and first aid certification required
  • Experience with outpatient orthopedic physical therapy treatment as a licensed therapist or during clinical rotations for new grads

 

Compensation: $85K - $112K+ inclusive of productivity incentives, with additional compensation opportunities for certifications. Benefits include generous paid time off, medical, dental, vision, disability, and 401(K) with a 4% employer match.
