About the PositionAn established orthopedic outpatient setting in
Woodbridge, NJ is looking for an experienced
Physical Therapist (PT) to join its clinical team.
Your day will center on helping patients recover from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, chronic musculoskeletal conditions, and movement limitations. You will evaluate each patient's current function, establish measurable rehabilitation goals, and provide treatment designed to improve mobility and restore practical movement.
The schedule is structured around approximately one to two patients per hour rather than a high-volume treatment model.
What You'll Do- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations
- Identify mobility, strength, balance, flexibility, and functional limitations
- Establish appropriate short- and long-term rehabilitation goals
- Deliver evidence-informed orthopedic physical therapy interventions
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercise and functional movement programs
- Provide hands-on treatment when appropriate
- Teach patients safe techniques and exercises they can continue outside the clinic
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress, and outcomes
- Reassess patients regularly and update plans of care based on progress
Requirements- Active PT license
- Graduate of an accredited DPT or MSPT program
- Prior experience working in an outpatient physical therapy environment
- Experience treating orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
- Ability to manage treatment plans and clinical documentation independently
