Indiana University Health Medical Group and the Indiana University School of Medicine are seeking a visionary, collaborative physician leader to serve as Medical Director of the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana (RHI) in Indianapolis, Indiana. This prestigious leadership opportunity is ideal for a board-certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician who is passionate about advancing clinical excellence interdisciplinary care, education, innovation, and research within one of the nation's premier academic health systems.
As Medical Director, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for inpatient rehabilitation services while partnering closely with physician, administrative, nursing, therapy, and academic leaders to drive exceptional patient outcomes and support the continued growth of a nationally recognized rehabilitation program.
Position Highlights
- Serve as a Medical Director for the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana, a nationally recognized inpatient rehabilitation facility.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of PM&R physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, nurses, and healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to establish strategic goals, quality initiatives, and operational priorities.
- Advance academic, educational, and research initiatives in partnership with the Indiana University School of Medicine.
- Foster innovation in rehabilitation medicine, patient experience, quality improvement, and care delivery models.
- Participate in physician recruitment, professional development, and succession planning efforts.
- Support resident and fellow education through the PM&R residency and academic training programs.
