PHP DeveloperJob Summary We are looking for a skilled
PHP Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in PHP, Laravel, MySQL, RESTful APIs, and web application development. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, testing, and optimizing scalable and secure web applications.
Key Responsibilities - Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and Laravel.
- Write clean, reusable, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs.
- Develop database structures, queries, relationships, and stored procedures using MySQL.
- Optimize SQL queries and application performance.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and other web-security best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Work with frontend developers to integrate backend APIs with web interfaces.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices.
- Write and maintain unit/integration tests.
- Use Git for source-code management and collaborative development.
- Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with QA, UI/UX, frontend developers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
Required Skills - Strong proficiency in Core PHP and Object-Oriented PHP (OOP).
- Hands-on experience with Laravel or a similar PHP framework.
- Strong understanding of MVC architecture.
- Good knowledge of MySQL and SQL query optimization.
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of JSON, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Git/version control.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, and other web-security concepts.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of software development life cycle and coding best practices.
Good to Have - Experience with PHPUnit or other testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of Redis, caching, queues, and background jobs.
- Experience with Docker and Linux environments.
- Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with payment-gateway integrations.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Vue.js, React, or other frontend frameworks.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of professional experience in PHP development.
- Strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.
