Qualifications

• Ph.D. or MS in Photonics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a similar field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the photonic or opto-electronic devices industry.
• Proven managerial experience in leading teams.
• Experience in hiring and expanding engineering teams is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of optical semiconductor devices and optical principles.
• Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver production PIC test capacity and capability to meet demanding timelines.
• Expand test lab infrastructure in a new, larger lab setting.
• Lead efforts to enhance test efficiency and capacity for wafer and die-level testing.
• Manage team resources effectively and set priorities based on production needs.
• Build and grow a skilled PIC Production Test team.
• Source, hire, and onboard talented engineers and technicians.
• Support continuous development of test hardware and software alongside cross-functional teams.
