About the role of the Pharmacy Product Manager, Clinical Operations

The Pharmacy Product Manager, Clinical Operations, is the central connector that turns pharmacy programs, services and solutions into market-ready products, with a focus on improving member experience, access and affordability. In this role you’ll manage, design, develop, and launch new, as well as enhancements of existing pharmacy and drug management products across all markets and segments.  You’ll develop recommendations, provide expert consultation, and perform assessments and analysis supporting corporate priorities, market strategies, product strategies, and product launches. Sitting at the intersection of healthcare, pharmacy, technology and product, The Pharmacy Product Manager combines their experience in product strategy, market and PBM knowledge, cross-functional leadership, feasibility work, implementation coordination, and ongoing product management to accelerate change.

What you’ll do:

  • Design and develop pharmacy and drug management products through final specifications.
  • Work across sales and marketing, leadership, and other departments to define and clarify work objectives, specific deliverables, and timelines in launching new and revisions to existing products.
  • Coordinate, consult, and support work achieving deliverables on corporate priorities, market and product strategies, product development efforts, and RFI/RFP responses.
  • Identify and frame issues, assess approaches to organize the work, and develop guiding frameworks to support prioritization and completion of work.
  • Coordinate and facilitate departmental and interdepartmental workgroups, work debriefings, planning sessions, and other facilitated discussions.
  • Work collaboratively with associates and provide coaching and subject matter expertise.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or four (4) years of product, consulting, planning, research, and/or equivalent health industry work experience. (Required)
  • Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) experience. (Preferred)
  • Four (4) years of health care/health insurance product development experience. (Preferred)
  • General understanding of health insurance disciplines including actuarial, underwriting, contracting, marketing, selling, eligibility, billing, and claims functions.

The pay for this role will vary based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographic location, market conditions, and specific skills and experience.

The salary range for this role is posted below; we generally target up to and around the midpoint of the range.

National Plus Salary Range:

$101,900.00 - $173,200.00

*National Plus salary range is used in higher cost of labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska.
