Full Job Description
The Role:

As an Operations Trainer, you will be based onsite at our Romeoville, Illinois facility, where you will develop, coordinate, and deliver standardized, role-based training programs that support all Pharmacy Operations functions. In this role, you will partner closely with subject matter experts across Pharmacy Operations, Compounding, Quality, Compliance, Supply Chain, Product Development, Operational Excellence, and Workforce Management to create training that prepares employees to perform their work safely, consistently, and in compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.

You will play a key role in onboarding new employees, supporting process improvements, implementing SOP changes, and measuring training effectiveness as the organization continues to scale. This position reports to Pharmacy Operations and collaborates cross-functionally to build and sustain a high-performing, well-trained workforce. The role is based onsite at our Romeoville, IL facility and supports training initiatives across all Pharmacy Operations locations. Periodic travel to other pharmacy locations is required to deliver training, support operational initiatives, and partner with local teams.

This posting is for our location in Romeoville, Illinois and travel to other pharmacy facilities as needed.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead onboarding and role-based training programs across all Pharmacy Operations functions.
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver instructor-led, hands-on, virtual, and LMS-based training programs.
  • Partner with cross-functional SMEs to develop and maintain standardized training materials that align with operational processes, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate training associated with new products, equipment, process improvements, and SOP updates.
  • Establish and maintain role-based learning paths, competency assessments, training matrices, and employee qualification records.
  • Monitor training completion, competency, compliance, and training effectiveness using established metrics and reporting tools.
  • Identify retraining opportunities through quality events, audits, process changes, operational metrics, and leadership feedback.
  • Collaborate closely with Pharmacy Operations, Compounding, Quality, Compliance, Supply Chain, Product Development, Operational Excellence, and Workforce Management to ensure consistent training and workforce readiness across all Pharmacy Operations locations.


What You'll Bring to the Team:

The target base salary for this position ranges from $107,100 to $126,000, in addition to a competitive equity and benefits package (as applicable). When determining compensation, we analyze and carefully consider several factors, including location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. These considerations may cause your compensation to vary.
