Key Responsibilities- Onboard pharmacy staff including pharmacists, technicians, and supportive staff following SOPs.
- Identify knowledge and performance gaps and direct training and quality assurance programs.
- Maintain employee documentation, competencies, and performance as per regulatory standards.
- Stay updated on pharmacy practice, 340b, and URAC regulations.
- Monitor and update policies and procedures to reflect regulatory changes.
- Design, develop, and execute training programs for all pharmacy service levels.
- Provide mentorship to new employees and perform performance audits.
- Assist in disciplinary actions regarding employee performance.
- Participate in quality improvement projects.
- Serve as a liaison to student and residency programs with affiliated pharmacy schools.
- Collaborate with the organization's learning and development department.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited college/university of pharmacy (Pharm.D or B.S. with equivalent experience)
- Valid license from the Board of Pharmacy of the State of Texas
- Must maintain First Aid /CPR
- 5+ years of pharmacist experience
- Completion of ASHP accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency certification (desirable)
- Experience in training and development
- Computer experience Windows, Microsoft Word & Excel
- Must be able to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize
