Contract Period: April 1, 2026 - March 31, 2027
Salary: $45-$58 per hour (commensurate with experience)
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care, including patient counseling on medications, medical devices, and supplies.
- Partner with healthcare professionals to monitor drug effectiveness, usage, and potential side effects.
- Offer guidance on common medical conditions, such as diabetes, asthma, smoking cessation, and high blood pressure.
- Deliver exceptional customer service with empathy and professionalism.
- Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff to maintain efficient and accurate pharmacy operations.
- Provide services under the expanded scope of practice as required.
Qualifications:- Degree in Pharmacy and a current license in Ontario, in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
- Minimum of one year of full-time pharmacist experience in Ontario preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in French is an asset.
- Experience in geriatrics or nursing home settings is advantageous.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and collaborative teamwork.
- Ability to work efficiently with a high level of accuracy.
