PHARMACIST - INPATIENTAspirus Rhinelander Hospital, Rhinelander, WI
Full Time (0.9 FTE, 72 hours every pay period)
Day/PM/Night rotation (7on/7off) for 4 weeks then day/pm shifts for 4 weeks - weekend and holiday rotation
This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus! Job Description:The Pharmacist serves as a specialist in a selected area of pharmaceutical care with the goal being the safe, efficacious, and cost-effective use of drugs and information about drugs to achieve outcomes that improve patient quality of life.
Experience/Qualifications:- Knowledge of pharmaceutical standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's or Doctorate Degree in pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy, with a Doctorate required for some specialty areas of clinical practice as defined by specialty description.
- Completion of a residency and/or fellowship in pharmacy practice desired but not required.
- One year experience desired in retail or hospital pharmacy practice to enhance and develop skills.
- Unique experience in a specialty area of pharmacy practice beneficial.
- Membership in the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) or the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin (PSW) desired.
