Personnel Security Specialist The Opportunity: Provide General Intelligence Security (GIS) oversight and support to the states, territories, and District of Columbia. Provide support services that support and enhance the ability to administer oversight and compliance pertaining to personnel security, information security, industrial security, communication security, foreign disclosure, and sensitive compartmented information programs. Conduct development, planning, scheduling, coordinating, training, monitoring, and communication. You Have: • Experience supporting Personnel Security (PERSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) General Intelligence Security Programs by providing comprehensive risk management and security services to the Army • Experience with System Authorization Access Request Forms (SAAR) in Army Enterprise System Integration Program (AESIP), Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM), General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), and Account Management and Provisioning System (AMPS) systems • Experience submitting Personnel Security Investigation Portal (PSIP) forms for new security clearance requirements, clearance upgrades, and continuous vetting requirements for all Active Guard Reserve (AGR), Active Duty Operational Support (ADOS), and CIV staff • Experience supporting INFOSEC requirements associated with access and oversight of secure work environments within a facility • Experience actioning supplemental Information Requests from Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Adjudication and Vetting Service (AVS) regarding security clearances for all National Guard Youth and Job Challenge program populations • Experience initiating and verifying the favorable adjudication of a national-level Tier 1 Background Investigation with Child Care Coverage Code 8 • Experience conducting Tier 1 with Child Care Coverage Code 8 background investigations, including State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) Checks for all states of residence since age 16, State Child Abuse and Neglect Registry (CANR) Checks across child protective services and abuse registries nationwide, State Sex Offender Registry (SOR) Checks for public and non-public registries, including NSOPW queries, or Installation Records Checks (IRC) covering DoD law enforcement, drug or alcohol rehabilitation records, and Family Advocacy Program (FAP) databases for DoD-affiliated personnel • Secret clearance • HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have: • Experience supporting the federal government, the Intelligence Community (IC), and the Department of Defense (DoD) • Knowledge of Microsoft applications, including MS Office and MS Project Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Compensation Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
