Personnel Security Adjudicator (Mid)

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including recent independent execution of security policies.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or 12 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 8 years of adjudication experience, specifically with SEAD-4 and ICD 704 standards.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with an In-Scope CI Polygraph required.
• Proficiency in producing professional written products and briefings.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and certify the trustworthiness of DoD-affiliated personnel for access to sensitive information.
• Conduct reviews of personnel security investigations according to SEAD-4 guidelines.
• Analyze investigative reports and continuous evaluation data to identify risks.
• Document outcomes for review or appeal and recommend further investigations as needed.
• Create and update case files and databases, coordinating with investigative agencies.
• Support initial vetting and manage due process actions and appeals.
• Prepare reports summarizing adjudicative actions and stay current on relevant regulations.
