Role RoadmapAs Kalshi's Content Lead for Perps, you'll own the trader education strategy that turns curious new users into confident, active perps traders. Perpetual contracts are one of the most important - and most misunderstood - products on our platform, and how well we teach people to actually trade them directly shapes conversion, retention, and trust. You'll be the single owner of that experience: writing and producing the articles and trading-focused video content that teach people how perps work and how to trade them (and prediction markets more broadly), and building Kalshi's Learn Hub into content infrastructure the rest of the company can build on.
What You'll Do- Own end-to-end trader education strategy for perps, and extend that ownership to prediction markets learning content as capacity allows
- Write and publish high-quality educational articles that teach the mechanics and strategy of trading perps clearly and credibly to new and existing traders
- Be the on-camera face of Kalshi's trading education - planning, scripting, and starring in a first-party YouTube series that builds real trust and authority with traders, not just faceless voiceover explainers
- Build a consistent YouTube content cadence and library, treating it as a flagship channel rather than a side project
- Rebuild and own Kalshi's Learn Hub, turning it into a real growth channel - not just documentation, but structured, discoverable, conversion-oriented content
- Partner with Growth, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance to make sure educational content reflects new products, launches, and regulatory considerations accurately and quickly
- Establish a scalable content system (workflows, templates, possibly AI-enabled tooling) so content production and quality improve continuously, not just in a single push
- Track and report on how educational content performs against acquisition, activation, and conversion metrics, and iterate based on what's working
What You Bring- 4+ years of experience building and owning educational or growth-driving content, ideally at a fintech, crypto, or trading platform
- A demonstrated track record of building a content function or hub from the ground up and scaling it - not just contributing to an existing one
- Excellent writing and editing skills; comfortable being the primary voice across articles, scripts, and educational materials
- Comfortable and effective on camera - experience hosting, scripting, and starring in first-party video content, ideally a YouTube series, not just producing video from behind the scenes
- Real knowledge of trading and markets; able to speak credibly about strategy and mechanics, not just explain products at a surface level
- Ability to translate complex financial or trading concepts into content that's clear for a first-time user
- Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor: owning strategy and execution without needing a team to delegate to
- Strong cross-functional collaborator, able to work closely with Growth, Product, Legal, and Compliance in a fast-moving environment
- Bonus: experience with AI-enabled content workflows or tooling to scale production efficiency
NYC Pay Transparency Disclosure: Salary Range: $150,000 to $250,000 annually plus equity and benefits. This range reflects current market data for this role.
