Atlanta, GA area in support of an owner's representative program for the construction and startup of a $6 billion pharmaceutical facility.
The ideal candidate will have experience in permitting, stakeholder engagement, schedule management, program management, regulatory compliance, and permit and commitment tracking. This role will oversee a workstream focused on permit support, stakeholder engagement, workforce development, and supplier development.
The successful candidate will work with a support team of specialists covering air permitting and RCRA/waste issues, as well as public relations and workforce development professionals. The role also involves coordinating with regulatory agencies, environmental permitting authorities, local stakeholders, and members of the public. Additionally, the candidate will oversee, coordinate, and review environmentally related deliverables required to support the project.
Your role- Oversee permitting, stakeholder engagement, workforce development, and supplier development activities as an owner's representative.
- Provide schedule and quality oversight, ensuring environmentally related deliverables are completed as expected.
- Build trust and maintain effective relationships with applicable agencies, stakeholders, and local communities.
- Provide guidance to streamline environmental studies and permitting approaches.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts, public relations teams, and workforce enablement teams to support supplier and workforce development initiatives.
- Communicate updates to clients, project teams, and program management teams using permit trackers and logs.
- Must be located in the Huntsville, Alabama area and be available to work on-site daily.
About you- Bachelor's degree in Planning, Sciences, Natural Resources, or a related field. A Master's degree is considered an asset.
- 10+ years of experience with demonstrated knowledge of leading large development programs, including coordination of technical studies and schedule management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with schedule management software.
- Excellent technical writing, computer, and verbal communication skills with clients, agencies, the public, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational, task management, time management, analytical, and deductive reasoning skills.
- Ability to maintain a professional attitude and strong attention to detail while working within a highly collaborative team environment.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
