Full Job Description
Performance Reporting Manager, Operations Management North America
The Performance Reporting Manager will work closely with Asset Management, Operations, Finance, Commercial, and external service providers. The team establishes a trusted, portfolio-wide view of asset performance and converts operational, market and financial data into clear insights for leadership, investors and other stakeholders.
Role
The Performance Reporting Manager is responsible for the development, delivery and continuous improvement of performance reporting across operating wind, solar and BESS assets. The role will ensure reporting is accurate, timely and decision-oriented; maintain consistent KPI definitions and data governance; identify performance trends and risks; and provide executive-level insights that support asset optimization, reliability and value creation.
Responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to:
• Develop and deliver all standardized daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual performance reporting for wind, solar and BESS assets, including MORs, board presentations, and concise portfolio- and asset-level dashboards for leadership and key stakeholders.
• Own KPI definitions, reporting methodologies and data-quality controls for availability, production, lost energy, curtailment, capacity factor, solar performance ratio, BESS availability and round-trip efficiency, budget variance and revenue performance.
• Integrate, validate and reconcile data from SCADA, EMS, CMMS, metering, market, weather, forecasting and financial systems; investigate anomalies and coordinate timely correction of data issues.
• Analyze performance trends, outages, underperformance, degradation and revenue impacts; quantify key drivers and partner with Asset Management and Operations on root cause analysis and corrective-action tracking.
• Build and continuously improve automated reporting workflows, dashboards and portfolio scorecards using business-intelligence and data-management tools, reducing manual effort while improving transparency and consistency.
You
The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience in renewable energy, power generation, asset management, performance engineering, data analytics or management reporting, including direct experience with utility-scale wind, solar and battery energy storage assets. You have demonstrated experience developing operational and financial reporting, translating complex data into actionable insights and supporting performance improvement across a multi-asset portfolio.
The bachelor's degree in engineering, data analytics, statistics, finance, economics, business, energy management or a related field is preferred; a master's degree is beneficial. Advanced proficiency in Excel and business-intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau is expected, along with working knowledge of SCADA and EMS data, CMMS platforms, SQL, data models, reporting automation and data-quality controls. Deep knowledge of renewable-energy KPIs, availability and lost-energy calculations, budgeting and forecasting, performance guarantees, PPAs, and ISO/RTO market concepts is highly valued.
Experience establishing reporting governance, managing analysts or external reporting providers, and presenting to executive, investor or lender audiences is beneficial.
We look for the following in the candidate:
• Sound analytical judgment and meticulous attention to detail, paired with a firm commitment to accurate, consistent data and clear ownership
• Executive-level communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex performance results into concise, actionable messages
• A collaborative and service-oriented approach, with the ability to build trusted relationships across technical, commercial, financial and operational teams
• Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with the discipline to produce recurring reports accurately and on schedule while handling ad hoc requests
• A continuous-improvement mindset, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to question established ideas, resolve ambiguity, and recommend practical solutions
