About the Role
The People Specialist is the first point of contact for employee questions and a key operational partner to the People Team. You will keep core HR processes accurate, timely, and compliant, from a new hire's first paperwork to the records we maintain through the full employee lifecycle. What You'll Do
Process transactional requests in Workday, including data changes, job and compensation updates, and worker record maintenance, with a high level of accuracy
Serve as tier one HR support, responding to employee questions on HR policies, benefits, payroll inquiries, and processes, and escalating to the appropriate People Team partner when needed
Provide administrative support for the learning management system (LMS), including assigning courses, tracking completions, running reports, and troubleshooting user issues
Maintain employee documents and files, ensuring records are complete, organized, confidential, and audit-ready
Prepare and manage onboarding and off-boarding paperwork, coordinating with Recruiting, IT, Facilities, and hiring managers for a smooth experience
Complete Form I-9 processing, including document review, verification, and timely completion in line with federal requirements
Identify opportunities to improve People Team processes and documentation

Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
