West Virginia University School of Medicine - Eastern Division seeks a Pediatric Physician for an Outpatient Only Position (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice at the Hagerstown clinic in Hagerstown, MD.
Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Pediatrics. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent State medical license, and DEA registration is required by start date. The successful candidate must have completed a Pediatrics residency program. Successful candidates must be board certified / eligible in Pediatrics. All qualifications must be met by the time of the appointment.
Hagerstown is in the Western Panhandle of Maryland a little more than an hour from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD close to 3 international airports. A rural atmosphere and a lower cost of living mixed with the easy accessibility to the Washington DC / Baltimore areas make the Western Panhandle an ideal place in which to live.
