The Product Development Team (PDT) Lead for Architecture Projects plays a critical role in driving successful project execution from inception through hand-off to Design and Product Teams. This position combines technical leadership, cross-functional program management, and customer-focused execution to ensure innovative projects are delivered on time, with high quality, and in alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities:- Lead cross-functional project development activities
- Drive project execution across scope, schedule, quality, cost, and customer commitments while providing executive status updates
- Partner with engineering teams to evaluate technical solutions and balance performance, power, manufacturability, reliability, and cost requirements
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, manufacturing, schedule, and customer risks while resolving cross-functional barriers
- Lead project transition from inception to Design or Product Teams hand-off
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- Experience leading semiconductor product development programs involving DRAM, memory systems, storage, ASIC, SoC, modules, platforms, or similar technologies
- Strong understanding of the semiconductor product development lifecycle, including qualification, manufacturing ramp, reliability, and customer engagement processes
- Experience with stage-gate development methodologies and new product introduction (NPI) execution
- Proficiency using AI tools to improve productivity and efficiency in day-to-day work
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience leading global, cross-functional engineering teams across multiple development sites
- Strong problem-solving, communication, participant management, and executive presentation skills
- Extensive experience in semiconductor engineering, systems architecture, product development, or technical program leadership
- Demonstrated ability to influence and drive alignment without direct organizational authority
- Experience managing sophisticated programs involving multiple engineering fields and business stakeholders
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$193,000.00 - $391,000.00 a year
Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
