Full Job Description
About the Role

Clair's business is built on deep, strategic integrations with the platforms that power how Americans work and get paid. As a Partnerships Lead, you'll own and drive some of our most important partner relationships - acting as the driver in how we grow, deepen, and scale those integrations over time.

This is a high-impact individual contributor role. You'll work directly with Clair's partnerships and growth leadership to shape partnership strategy, own a portfolio of key accounts, and serve as the primary point of contact for partners at all levels - including executive stakeholders. You'll bring both the strategic thinking to identify what's possible and the operational follow-through to make it happen.

If you're someone who thrives on driving product initiatives forward thinking commercially, bringing clarity to complex situations, building relationships, and driving initiatives forward with a high degree of ownership, you'll be right at home in this role.

What You'll Do

Drive Partner Growth & Expansion Think commercially about each partnership. Identify whitespace opportunities, propose new ways to expand the relationship, and work cross-functionally to bring those opportunities to life. You'll be expected to move the needle on partner-driven revenue and usership growth.

Own Partner Relationships Serve as the primary owner of a portfolio of high-value platform partnerships. Build deep, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders - including executive-level contacts - and proactively identify opportunities to grow and deepen each partnership over time. Lead QBRs and business reviews that demonstrate value and drive forward the strategic agenda of each partnership.

Lead Partner Onboarding & Launch Own the end-to-end onboarding process for new partners - setting the tone for the relationship from day one, coordinating across Product, Engineering, and Operations, and ensuring a smooth and well-managed go-live.

Own Partner Performance Track, analyze, and communicate partner performance across key metrics - adoption rates, user activity, revenue impact - and translate that data into clear, compelling narratives. Be the first to call out trends and lead the team on the discovery.

Represent the Partner Internally Be the voice of the partner at Clair. Surface product feedback, flag integration issues, and advocate clearly and persuasively across Product, Engineering, and Leadership to ensure partner needs are prioritized appropriately.

What We're Looking For
  • 4-6 years of experience in product management, partnerships, implementations, consulting, account management, business development, or a related field - with a proven track record of owning high-value external relationships and driving commercial outcomes.
  • Strong executive presence - you're comfortable engaging and presenting to senior stakeholders at partner organizations and can represent Clair confidently and credibly in those conversations.
  • Product fluency - You can lead scoping conversations with partners as a credible counterpart, not a relay between them and your engineering team. You're comfortable operating without a defined playbook, and when partnership metrics soften, your instinct is to dig into why rather than wait for someone to hand you the diagnosis.
  • Commercial mindset - You can collaborate with Product teams, influence implementation decisions, and help partners understand the value and tradeoffs of different solutions.
  • Data literate - you can synthesize and tell a compelling story with partner performance data using Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools. (know how to make a good deck)
  • Highly organized and operationally sharp - you manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously and bring structure to ambiguous situations.
  • A strong bias toward ownership - you drive things forward independently and don't wait to be told what to do next.
  • Comfortable operating cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and no two days look the same.

Bonus Points
  • Experience in fintech, embedded finance, or SaaS partnerships
  • Familiarity with how APIs or software integrations work
  • Experience scoping partner-facing product requirements and working with engineering to ship them
  • Experience building and leading executive-level business reviews
  • Previous product management experience
  • Prior experience at a high-growth startup or Series B/C company
