Full Job Description
About the Role

Now we're looking for a humble, hungry, people-smart Partner Marketing Manager to help our growing network of RIAs and benefits brokers become active, engaged partners for the long haul.

The ideal candidate can sit across the table from an RIA or benefits broker and earn their trust, then go build the campaign, sequence, and content that turns that trust into pipeline. You're comfortable in the gray area of a first-of-its-kind program, and you'd rather test and adjust than wait for a perfect plan.

This is a hybrid role, with a preference for candidates based in Indianapolis, IN. Indianapolis-based candidates will be expected to work from our office 3 days per week. We are also open to considering fully remote candidates outside the Indianapolis area. Applicants must also be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employment visa Sponsorship.
Why This Role Matters
  • Our partner program is gaining momentum and the playbook for what comes next is yours to help write.
  • You'll shape every marketing touchpoint that happens after a partner signs, from a strong first onboarding experience to activation, referrals, retention, and expansion. You'll get to know how our partners operate, try new ideas, and turn the best ones into programs we can repeat and scale.
  • At the heart of the role are real relationships. You'll learn what each partner wants to achieve, then create programs that move their business forward while growing ours.
  • This is a hands-on individual-contributor role reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing. You'll collaborate closely with Sales, Client Success, and Product and have the autonomy and trust to run with your ideas.
  • Success looks like this: signed partners become active advocates who generate engagement, referrals, and meaningful growth.

Responsibilities
What You'll Own
  • Own the partner marketing experience after acquisition, from a standout onboarding through activation, referrals, retention, and expansion.
  • Build trusted relationships with RIAs, benefits brokers, and other financial-services partners. Learn how their businesses work, what matters to them, and what success looks like on both sides.
  • Create and launch multichannel campaigns across email, direct mail, webinars, events, print, and whatever channels best fit each partner and audience.
  • Bring joint opportunities to life with current partners and qualified prospects, engaging client audiences and generating referrals.
  • Team up with Sales to deepen relationships, spot new opportunities, and turn partner activity into pipeline and shared wins.
  • Re-engage inactive partners, increase adoption among paid-seat partners, and expand high-potential relationships across teams, clients, use cases, and seats.
  • Define what healthy partner growth looks like, then track activation, engagement, referrals, pipeline, retention, and expansion.
  • Take programs from idea to launch: shape the plan, bring the right people together, and roll up your sleeves to make it happen.
  • Experiment, learn quickly, and turn what works into a partner-growth playbook that can scale.

Requirements and Qualifications
What You'll Bring
  • 4-7 years of experience in partner, customer, channel, or account-based marketing, or customer engagement
  • Track record improving partner or client activation, engagement, retention, or growth
  • A genuine talent for building and cultivating external relationships
  • Strong copywriting, presentation, communication, and relationship-management skills, plus experience running multichannel programs
  • Excellent project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of marketing funnels, lead nurturing, and customer lifecycle marketing
  • Hands-on experience using email marketing or automation platforms (HubSpot, Outreach, Zapier etc.) to build, measure, and improve campaigns.
  • A team-first approach to working with Sales and other functions. Their success feels like your success, and you're always looking for practical ways to help everyone win.
  • A bias toward action and a healthy dose of scrappiness. You're comfortable making decisions, testing new approaches, picking up useful tools, and adjusting quickly as you learn.
Even Better If You
  • Have worked in SaaS, at a startup, or on another fast-moving, close-knit team.
  • Know the RIA, wealth-management, financial-services, employee-benefits, or fintech landscape.
  • Experience building a partner or customer-growth program connected directly to referrals, pipeline, revenue, retention, or expansion
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
