Palliative Care Physician

The Opportunity
The Division of Palliative Care and Geriatric Medicine at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is seeking aboard certified/eligible Palliative Medicine Physicianto join our interdisciplinary team.
This role is key to our clinical, educational, and quality improvement missions.
What You Will Do
3 Provideinpatient and outpatient consultation serviceswithin Laheys academic medical center.
3 Collaborate with ourinterdisciplinary team.
3 Commit to promotingquality care transitions.
Program & Educational Focus
3 LHMC is affiliated with theUniversity of Massachusetts Chan Medical School.
3 Our division hosts anACGME-accredited Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship.
3 Professional Development:We support candidates interests with available clinical, educational, and academic opportunities.
3 Preferred:Interest and experience in medical education and program development.
3 Academic Appointment:Opportunity for an academic appointment with the University of Massachusetts Chan School of Medicine (commensuratewith achievement).
Qualifications & Requirements
Candidatesmustmeet the following:
3 CompletedHospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowshiptraining by hiredate, ordemonstrate comparable experience.
3 Board certified/eligible in Palliative Medicine.
3 Demonstrate passion for clinical palliative care.
Location:ConvenientlylocatedinBurlington, MA, approximately 15 miles northwest of Boston.
The Area:Offers excellent schools, academic institutions, and abundant cultural/recreational amenities, with a short drive to the New England lakes, mountains, and shores.

Pay Range:
$220,000.00 USD - $240,000.00 USD
The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary rangethe organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation may be determined based on several factors, that may include education, training, relevant experience, specialty, geography of work location, productivity, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include productivity and quality bonuses.
