About Us:
Fraser Valley Cataract and Laser is a group practice of 4 ophthalmologists and 2 medical optometrists with fully equipped ophthalmology surgical suites. We operate 4 clinics across the Fraser Valley (Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Coquitlam, and Surrey), all within 1 hour of Vancouver.

In addition to our ophthalmology services, we currently have a pain management clinic and space available for other specialties, including dermatology, podiatry, and more.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Pain Specialist Physician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing and managing complex pain conditions, performing interventional procedures, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and manage patients with chronic, and complex pain conditions.
  • Perform interventional pain procedures (e.g., trigger point injections) as indicated.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans, including pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with regulatory and clinic standards.
  • Participate in continuing education and contribute to clinical research initiatives when applicable.

Qualifications:
  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with completion of residency in Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, or a relevant specialty.
  • Fellowship or specialized training in Pain Management preferred.
  • Licensed to practice medicine in BC, Canada.
  • Strong clinical judgment, procedural skills, and commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
