The Cancer Care Service Line at Corewell Health is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Hematology program. This position will support our growing Hematology practice, seeing patients primarily in the outpatient setting at Lemmen Holton Cancer Pavilion, with cross coverage to our inpatient floor across the street at Butterworth Hospital- both ideally situated on Corewell Health's dynamic 'medical mile' in downtown Grand Rapids. This is a full-time position, working five 8-hour shifts per week or four 10-hour shifts weekly. Once onboarded, there will be a need to participate in on-call responsibilities with future work needs on weekends/holidays.
Qualified candidates will have previous experience working as a Hematology/Oncology Advanced Practice Provider, but new graduates will also be considered with CV's that demonstrate experience or special interest in oncology.
Qualifications
Required Master's Degree Nurse Practitioners who obtained their education and certification after 2000 must show evidence of completion of a master’s, post-master’s or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program that is accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission
3 years of relevant experience current, relevant clinical experience Required
Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role Required
