The Target Pay Range for this position is $103,000 - $130,000 annually. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.

This position can be based in any SDx Hub location: Loveland, CO, New York, NY or Fountain Valley, CA,

The P&O Business Partner serves as the primary P&O partner for an assigned population of leaders and Associates. The P&O Business Partner is responsible for deploying and executing the People Strategy within their assigned scope. As a trusted business partner, they coach and develop leaders on people practices while serving as a trusted advocate for Associates, fostering our SDx Culture in alignment with the Mars Five Principles. The P&O Business Partner collaborates closely with other P&O teams to bring the People Strategy to life and provide effective support to both Leaders and Associates.

Job Purpose/Overview

The P&O Business Partner serves as the primary P&O partner for an assigned population of leaders and Associates. The P&O Business Partner is responsible for deploying and executing the People Strategy within their assigned scope. As a trusted business partner, they coach and develop leaders on people practices while serving as a trusted advocate for Associates, fostering our SDx Culture in alignment with the Mars Five Principles. The P&O Business Partner collaborates closely with other P&O teams to bring the People Strategy to life and provide effective support to both Leaders and Associates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Partner with business leaders to support organizational change initiatives, ensuring effective planning, implementation, and change management
  • Drive the adoption of People & Organization (P&O) signature processes by training, coaching, and supporting leaders and associates on performance management, talent development, and culture initiatives (I.e: PDP, MAS, Culture etc.)
  • Partner closely when needed with the COE teams (eg Talent, I&D, L&D, Culture, TA) to drive key signature programs and deploy consistent practices across client groups
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute business priorities, departmental strategies, objectives, and people initiatives.
  • Analyze workforce metrics (turnover, productivity, time-to-fill, performance reviews, engagement, and participation rates) to identify trends, generate insights, and recommend data-driven solutions
  • Support workforce planning, organizational design, and talent management strategies
  • Partner with client groups to identify training needs and support development planning, collaborating with L&D to source and provide the necessary growth resources
  • Establish a highly approachable and visible P&O presence that serves as a trusted advocate and strategic partner for both associates and business leaders. Actively champion a culture of open communication, ensuring that associates feel heard, valued, and supported, while aligning people practices with business objectives
  • Foster an inclusive and engaged workplace by addressing employee concerns and promoting a culture of belonging
  • Provide coaching and day-to-day guidance to leaders on performance management, employee development, and P&O best practices
  • Identify and address associate relations concerns; directly resolve routine or less complex matters, and partner closely with the Associate Relations team to ensure the swift and thorough investigation of complex cases
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR regulations while minimizing organizational risk.
  • Support end-to-end recruitment activities in partnership with Talent Acquisition, including talent acquisition planning, hiring governance, offer approvals, and onboarding. May help identify interview panels and/or participate in interviews to ensure talent selection aligns with organizational goals.
  • Oversee HR documentation and employee lifecycle processes, including hires, promotions, transfers, and separations.
  • Analyze exit survey data and turnover trends to develop retention strategies, conducting targeted exit interviews as needed to gather deeper insights.
  • Contribute to enterprise-wide P&O initiatives, cross-functional projects, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Uphold the highest standards of ethics, integrity, compliance, and accountability while promoting the organization's values and code of conduct.
  • Operate in a manner consistent with and aligns to the Five Principles and Associate Concept in decision making and business partnering activity


Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree preferred
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred
  • 8 years' experience as a HR Generalist or HR Business Partner
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, talent management, talent acquisition etc.
  • Relevant industry experiences a plus


Working Conditions

The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding. The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations and communicate with people in an office or virtual environment. The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

The associate will primarily work in a typical office environment or a remote home office. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The associate will be required to use a computer, spreadsheets, data base management, email, video conferencing and the Internet. The associate is frequently required to use a calculator; fax, copy machine, and phone system. The associate must occasionally use media equipment such as an overhead projector, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams. Environment where pets are present.
