Position Summary

As a consultant in our P&C Actuarial Practice, you will engage in transformative client projects,leveragingyour technicalexpertiseand strategic insights to develop,validate, andoperationalizeactuarial models and methodologies. This role offers a chance to work collaboratively withcutting-edgetechnologies, including AI, to deliver impactful solutionsaround more traditional actuarialprojects involving pricing, reserving, and capital modeling.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analytics: Conduct extensive data analyses, managing large datasets to inform strategic decision-making.

  • Technical Guidance: Provide insights into actuarial methodologies, ensuring high-quality outputs and adherence to governance frameworks.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage effectively with clients and senior stakeholders, translating complex findings into actionable recommendations.

  • Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration:Opportunities to work with engineering teams to translate actuarial specifications into technical requirements andvalidateoutcomes.

  • Quality Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards andinternal bestpractices, rigorously validatingdata,modeloutputsand assumptions.

  • Innovation Contribution: Enhance tools, processes, and methodologies to drive operational excellence within the practice.

Qualifications

Required

  • Education: BA/BS degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related field.

  • Experience: 3+ years of actuarial experience.Commitment to pursuing CAS actuarial credentialswith a minimum of 3passedactuarial exams.

The applicable base salary range for this role is$70,000 $130,000

The base pay offered will bedeterminedonfactors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will bedeterminedon a case-by-case basis.

In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
