Outside Sales Representative - Biltright Turf

Outside Sales - Biltright Turf
Some closers do their best work with a manager over their shoulder. This role is built for the other kind.
We're handing a proven closer a region of their own - Home Depot and Lowe's stores inside it, and a steady flow of homeowners who already know they want turf and already know quality isn't cheap. Standing behind you is a company that spent years earning its name:

You bring the confidence. We bring a product that backs up every word you say at the kitchen table. Then you go run it.
Built for independence
We'll train you thoroughly - our product, pricing, process, and install standards. After that, the region is yours. No micromanaging. No check-in calls for the sake of check-in calls. When you need something, we move fast - you'll never wait on us.

You own the scoreboard, too. If a number ever dips, you're the one who puts the meeting on the calendar - and you walk in with what you've already changed and what it's doing. That's how owners operate, and it's exactly the kind of person we want to back.

The bar - set high because you can clear it
Average sale: $9,204.Ten appointments a week is the floor. Twenty is where top performers live.
A 40% close rate is the standard here. With warm leads, a trusted brand, and our reviews in your corner, it's a standard strong closers hit week after week.
The money - uncapped and simple

Ten percent of contract value. No tiers to decode, no accelerators that never trigger. Hold your price and you keep the full 10% (discounted jobs pay 8%) - so your confidence in the product pays you directly.
The arithmetic on 48 working weeks:
Jobs / weekAnnual contractsAt 10%Floor - 10 appts, 40%4$1,767,000$177,000Goal - 20 appts, 40%8$3,534,000$353,000

Five jobs a week clears $220k. Eight puts you north of $350k.
This is commission only - which means no ceiling on your income and no one but you deciding it. If that sounds like freedom, you're reading the right posting.
Plus: mileage reimbursed, $50/month for your phone, 80 hours PTO, paid holidays, healthcare, vision, dental, and 401k. A flexible schedule, and remote whenever you're not standing in somebody's backyard.
What you'd own
Your region. Not a lead list somebody else controls - a region with your name on it and room to grow.
The dealer relationship. Home Depot and Lowe's send us the majority of our volume, and the reps who win here treat those stores as home turf. They work table days, talk to anyone who walks by with a question about their yard, and book their own open time on the floor. A single good table day can fill your week. It's the most powerful lever in this role - and it's entirely in your hands.
The appointment, start to finish. Roll up. Walk the yard. Photograph it. Design it while they watch. Price it. Close it. No tape measure required - we built technology that handles the measuring with aerial imagery, parcel lines, and square footage calculated for you. You focus on the conversation; we handle the math.
Your own numbers. Sit rate, close rate, average ticket - delivered every Monday, the same view we see. Full transparency, always.
Who thrives here

• A proven in-home closer. You've sat at the kitchen table, looked the homeowner in the eye, and asked for the order. You're coming here to sell, not to learn how.
• A big-ticket track record. $5k and up, in the home, one-call close.
• A pipeline builder. You've generated your own business, not just worked a list. Dealer, retail-partner, or big-box experience? Lead with it - it's a big plus.
• An owner's mindset. You think about your region the way an owner thinks about their store.
• Road-ready. Valid license, an insured and reliable vehicle, and comfortable running a tablet.
• Character. This industry has a reputation; we built Biltright by being the opposite of it. Clients first, commission second - the best closers know that's what makes the commission come.

Bonus: landscape, hardscape, lighting, or related experience.
You'll love it here if...

• You do your best work when nobody's looking over your shoulder.
• You'd rather build a pipeline than wait for one.
• Ten appointments a week sounds like a warm-up.
• You protect your price because you believe in what you're selling.
• Uncapped commission sounds like opportunity, not risk.

Biltright was built on doing it right in an industry famous for not. Biggest commercial job, smallest residential yard - same standard.
If you're the closer we're describing, you already know it.
