Job Description:

  • Up to $10,000.00 Sign On Bonus
  • Up to $3,000.00 Relocation Bonus
  • Schedule: Monday-Thursday 10am - 7pm Fridays 9am -6pm
  • Location: 2400 NORTH ORANGE BLOSSOM TRAIL, Kissimmee, 34744
  • The anticipated minimum pay rate is $35 per hour
  • Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards.
  • Documents and charges accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department/hospital policy and procedures.
  • Participates in marketing to physicians and physician practices to build referral relationships.
  • Adjusts and adapts to changes in patient census by altering working hours to assist in other centers and programs as approved and observed by the manager or director
  • Participates in marketing to physicians/physician practices to build referral relationships.
  • Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extension of clinical expertise to the community.
  • .Oversees the care provided by physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides, according to established regulations and practice standards.
  • Practices principles of professional development by maintaining clinical competencies, using best and/or evidence-based practices, and serving as a clinical instructor.
  • Participates in practice changes as a result of performance improvement activities and supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department.
  • Maintains productivity standards as defined by the department, through effective time management and clinical efficiency and adjusts work hours to meet the needs of the patients as required.
  • Determines physical therapy diagnosis and establishes a plan of care, making recommendations for referral if treatment is needed outside the scope of physical therapist practice.
  • Designs and implements treatment plan of care utilizing practice standards, recommended techniques, modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient needs. Assesses patient ability to safely and effectively perform functional mobility skills and evaluates muscle, nerve, joint, and integumentary systems.
  • Monitors patient response and progress to treatment, modifying the treatment plan as appropriate. Other duties as assigned.
