OverviewThe Department of Neurology is looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant/Associate to
join our general neurology team.
This position is based at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) located in Lebanon, NH. DHMC is New Hampshire's only Level 1 trauma center and serves over 2 million people throughout New Hampshire and Vermont. DHMC was named New Hampshire's Best Hospital ([redacted]) by U.S. News & World Report.
Overview:- Outpatient position
- No nights, weekends, or call
- Collaborate with other APPs, neurologists, fellows, residents, and medical students
- Perform comprehensive neurological evaluations and follow-up visits
- Provide patient education on diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive strategies
- Academic appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College
Requirements:- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant/Associate
- Ability to obtain/maintain licensure in New Hampshire and Vermont
- At least two years of clinical experience
- Demonstrated interest in neurology
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills
