Responsibilities- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat orthopedic patients in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Assist in orthopedic surgeries including joint replacement, fracture care, and sports procedures
- Perform pre-op and post-op assessments
- Order/interprete imaging and labs
- Provide patient education, treatment planning, and follow-up care
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, therapists, nursing, and ancillary teams
Qualifications- Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Active or eligible for Maine PA/NP license
- Orthopedic or surgical experience preferred
- New graduates with strong orthopedic rotations considered
- Strong communication and team-based care mindset

Pay TransparencyCentral Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $120,000 to $137,000. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
