Position Highlights - Develop and maintain a comprehensive orthopedic sports medicine practice with a special emphasis on sports knee injuries, arthroscopic procedures, ligament reconstruction, and joint preservation techniques.
- Provide advanced surgical and nonsurgical management of sports-related musculoskeletal injuries for athletes and active individuals of all ages and skill levels.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons, primary care sports medicine physicians, athletic trainers, physical therapists, concussion specialists, and advanced practice providers.
- Participate in athletic team coverage, game-day medical services, and training room consultations with affiliated athletic programs.
- Utilize advanced surgical techniques and innovative treatment approaches supported by Banner's comprehensive orthopedic and sports medicine resources.
- Participate in the education and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows through an academic affiliation with the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix.
- Engage in clinical research, scholarly activities, and continued program development within a growing academic orthopedic department.

Qualifications - MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency program.
- Fellowship training in Orthopedic Sports Medicine is required.
- Demonstrated clinical interest and expertise in sports knee surgery, including arthroscopic knee procedures, ligament reconstruction, patellofemoral disorders, cartilage restoration and meniscal surgery.
- Additional expertise in other lower extremity procedures (hip, foot and ankle) welcomed
- Experience providing care to collegiate, professional, or other high-level athletic programs.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Arizona.
- Strong commitment to clinical excellence, multidisciplinary collaboration, academic education, and research.
