Oracle PL/SQL Developer

We are hiring for an **Oracle PL/SQL Developer** opportunity. **Role:** Oracle PL/SQL Developer **Location:** Austin, TX **Position:** 2 **Work Arrangement:** Onsite **Candidate Requirements:** - Candidates must have a home address in the Austin area at least 7 days before the start date. - Must be available to work from the office every day. **Role Overview** We are seeking experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developers with strong Oracle database knowledge and expertise in SQL and PL/SQL development. The ideal candidates will be responsible for analyzing production issues, developing and deploying SQL-based solutions, optimizing query performance, and supporting business applications built using Oracle technologies. **Required Skills** - Strong knowledge of Oracle database concepts. - Excellent technical and design skills in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL development. - Experience developing stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, cursors, views, and materialized views. - Experience implementing data processing, referential integrity, and business rules using Oracle database objects. - Ability to write complex SQL queries and apply advanced PL/SQL concepts. - Experience with performance tuning and processing large volumes of data. - Strong understanding of relational database concepts, including tables, views, indexes, and tablespaces. - Experience designing, developing, implementing, testing, supporting, and documenting business applications using Oracle technologies. - Ability to analyze production issues and resolve them by writing and deploying SQL. **Preferred Skills** - Oracle-approved certification or formal Oracle training. **Key Responsibilities** - Analyze production issues and identify database-related root causes. - Develop, test, and deploy SQL solutions to resolve production issues. - Create and maintain PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and other database objects. - Develop complex queries to support business requirements and data processing. - Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code for performance when working with large data volumes. - Apply database design principles and enforce referential integrity and business rules. - Support implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Oracle-based business applications. - Document SQL solutions, test results, and technical changes. **Expected Deliverables** - SQL queries and PL/SQL code to address production issues. - Tested and validated SQL solutions. - Performance-optimized queries and database objects, as required. - Technical documentation and test results. **Education Requirement** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. **Our Perks and Benefits** Our benefits and rewards program has been thoughtfully designed to recognize your skills and contributions, elevate your learning experience, and provide care and support for you and your loved ones.
