Full Job Description
You Are:

A technical Oracle Utilities specialist who lives in the engine room of large-scale CIS implementations. You understand how batch processing underpins every critical utility business process-from billing runs and meter reads to data conversion and interface orchestration. You combine hands-on Oracle Utilities Framework experience with sharp scripting skills to design, build, and optimize batch solutions that keep utility operations humming. You are the person teams rely on when jobs fail at 2am and deadlines cant slip.

The Work:
  • Design, develop, and optimize Oracle C2M / Oracle Utilities Framework batch processes to support billing, metering, data conversion, and integration workstreams.
  • Build and maintain shell scripts and automation routines to schedule, monitor, and recover batch jobs across environments.
  • Collaborate with functional leads, architects, and offshore teams to translate business requirements into robust batch solutions.
  • Define and maintain batch architecture documentation, job dependency maps, and operations runbooks.
  • Lead batch-related SIT and UAT execution, including defect triage and root cause analysis for batch failures.
  • Support performance tuning of batch threads, algorithms, and database queries to meet SLAs.
  • Participate in cutover planning and execution, managing batch sequencing and validation during deployment windows.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production and non-production batch environments, providing timely resolution and root cause documentation.


Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

What You Need:
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities Framework (OUAF) and Oracle C2M / CCB batch processing.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience writing and maintaining shell scripts (Bash or equivalent) for batch scheduling, monitoring, and recovery.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience designing batch architectures and job dependency frameworks on Oracle Utilities implementations.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience). If Associates Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience


Bonus Points If:
  • Oracle C2M or Oracle Utilities certification.
  • Experience with enterprise job scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, AutoSys) in a utility context.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) batch execution environments.
  • Experience with Python or Java scripting to extend batch processing capabilities.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting SIT, UAT, and production batch operations on at least one full-lifecycle Oracle Utilities project.
