Full Job Description
Optometrist
Opportunity:
Are you a Florida-Licensed Optometrist looking to take the next step in your career-including a future partnership opportunity? Beyond 2020 Vision Pinellas Park is seeking a dedicated full-time or part-time professional to join our patient-focused team. In our full-scope optometric practice, you'll provide high-quality vision care in a welcoming and professional environment. We're looking for an Optometrist who excels at building strong patient relationships, balancing high patient volume with exceptional care, and maintaining precision and accuracy in their work. Whether you're a recent graduate or an experienced professional, we encourage you to apply and grow with us.
For those relocating to Pinellas Park, you'll find a welcoming community in the heart of Pinellas County, with convenient access to St. Petersburg, Tampa, and the Gulf beaches. The area offers year-round sunshine, nearby parks and recreation, a diverse dining scene, and easy access to major roadways and St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport. With Florida's lack of a state individual income tax and plenty to explore throughout the Tampa Bay region, Pinellas Park is an appealing place to build your career and enjoy life outside of work.
What You'll Do:
As the newest Optometrist on our team, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the continued success of our Pinellas Park practice. You will conduct comprehensive eye exams, diagnose a wide range of ocular conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs. We're seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Optometrist with a warm and welcoming chairside manner. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in managing primary care and ocular disease, a desire to grow their practice, and exceptional communication skills. Our practice is equipped with the latest eye care technology, including Marco OPD, Nidek 6100, Topcon CV 5000, Optos, iCare, and more, to support you in delivering the highest quality care. If you're a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong commitment to continuous learning, and is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of others, we encourage you to apply. This position offers a flexible schedule of 9-27 hours per week, with an expected patient volume of approximately 4 patients per hour and 10-20 patients per day. Compensation includes a high rate of pay, bonus opportunities, scaled pay, and complimentary vision exams for you and your immediate family.
