Advanced Eyecare is seeking a new graduate or experienced Optometrist to join its growing, medically focused team, with opportunities available in Picayune, Mississippi, and Pearl River, Louisiana. This is an exciting opportunity to provide full-scope eye care in a patient-centered private practice that values clinical excellence, relationship-driven care, and meaningful community impact.
What you'll do:
In this role, you'll provide full-scope optometric care by evaluating and treating patients during routine and medical eye exams, interpreting diagnostic reports, documenting findings in the EHR, and managing individualized treatment plans. You'll collaborate with scribes to support efficient documentation and patient flow, while working with advanced technology and procedures, including YAG, SLT, fundus photography, OCT with angiography, VEP/ERG, visual field testing, B-scan, RightEye, TearLab, and Keratograph. You can expect to see approximately 25 to 30 patients per doctor each day within a 40-hour workweek.

You are willing to become licensed in both Louisiana and Mississippi, comfortable performing advanced procedures such as YAG, SLT, and minor lesion removals, and enthusiastic about staying current with the latest advancements in optometry and personalized treatment plans. You also value collaboration—working closely with scribes and team members to support efficient patient care, assist with staff training when needed, and learn from other associates to continue growing clinically and professionally. With strong communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning, you'll play an important role in supporting the practice's continued growth, reputation, and positive impact in the lives of patients.
