716 Eye Care is seeking an optometrist to join its growing private practice in Fredonia, New York. This is an immediate opportunity for a motivated doctor who wants more than just a position—we’re looking for someone who is excited to build their own patient base, grow clinically alongside an established team, and become a meaningful part of the practice and community. With continued patient demand and a strong focus on long-term fit, 716 Eye Care is prepared to move quickly for the right candidate and welcomes both experienced optometrists and new graduates who are interested in a future partnership or ownership opportunity.
What you'll do:
In this role, you’ll provide comprehensive, patient-centered optometric care while serving approximately 15 patients per day on a 30- to 50-hour-per-week schedule. Your daily responsibilities include routine and medical eye examinations, diagnosis and management of ocular disease, contact lens evaluations, and co-management of surgical patients. You’ll have access to modern diagnostic technology—including Optomap, Topcon Maestro2, Topcon lensometers, RetEval, InMode by Envision, a meibography camera, and a KR-800PA autorefractor—to support thorough evaluations, monitor ocular health, and deliver a high-quality patient experience. This opportunity also allows you to develop your own patient base and clinical interests while collaborating with an experienced clinical and optical team and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
Who you are:
The ideal candidate is a well-rounded, personable, and compassionate optometrist who is passionate about providing exceptional patient-centered care and building lasting relationships within the Fredonia community. No specific specialty is required; 716 Eye Care welcomes doctors with interests in primary eye care, medical optometry, ocular disease management, dry eye, contact lenses, or other areas they would like to grow within the practice. This role is a strong fit for someone who is dependable, communicative, collaborative, and confident working independently while also valuing a team-oriented environment. A willingness to learn, embrace new technology, contribute ideas, and become a long-term part of 716 Eye Care’s continued growth is highly valued.
Why you'll love Fredonia:
