Key duties involve clinical exams, surgical intervention (cataract, glaucoma, retinal, patient education, and managing complex cases.

Candidate Qualifications:- MD or DO degree.
- Completion of an Ophthalmology residency.
- Valid, unrestricted state medical license.
- Board certification (or eligibility) from the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO) preferred.
- Strong clinical skills, steady hands, and excellent communication.
Responsibilities & Duties:- Conduct comprehensive eye exams, vision tests, and interpret diagnostic results.
- Diagnose and treat eye diseases (e.g., cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy) and traumatic injuries.
- Perform surgeries, including cataract, glaucoma, retinal, and laser procedures.
- Prescribe corrective lenses (glasses, contacts) and medications.
- Educate patients on eye health and preventive care.
- Collaborate with optometrists, technicians, and other specialists.
- Maintain detailed patient records and stay current with ophthalmic advancements.
