RSM is seeking a results-driven and client-focused Supervisor to join our growing Operations & Supply Chain Advisory practice within the Enterprise Performance capability. This role is ideal for a consulting professional with experience helping organizations improve operational performance, optimize supply chain functions, and execute transformation initiatives that create measurable business value.
As a Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading and delivering client engagements focused on operational excellence, supply chain transformation, performance improvement, and enterprise value creation. Working directly with client stakeholders and engagement teams, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day project execution, conducting analyses, identifying improvement opportunities, developing recommendations, and ensuring successful implementation of solutions.

Responsibilities
Client Delivery & Project Execution
- Lead workstreams and day-to-day execution of supply chain and operations consulting engagements.
- Conduct operational assessments, business process evaluations, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and data analyses to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop practical, data-driven recommendations that improve operational performance, enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and create measurable business value.
- Support clients through transformation initiatives by defining future-state processes, operating models, performance metrics, and implementation roadmaps.
- Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, root causes, risks, and opportunities.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops and working sessions with client stakeholders.
- Develop executive-ready presentations, reports, analyses, and recommendations.
- Monitor engagement progress, manage work plans, track deliverables, and proactively identify project risks and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure project quality, consistency, and adherence to established methodologies and project objectives.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with client stakeholders across operations, supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and finance functions.
- Effectively communicate project status, key findings, recommendations, and implementation considerations to client leadership teams.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by providing insight and guidance throughout project delivery.
- Support issue resolution and stakeholder alignment to ensure successful project outcomes.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead associates and senior associates across multiple workstreams and client engagements.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to junior team members.
- Review analyses, deliverables, and client-facing materials to ensure quality and consistency.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning within engagement teams.
- Support knowledge sharing, methodology development, and continuous improvement efforts across the practice.
Practice Support
- Contribute operational expertise to proposals, client presentations, and business development pursuits as needed.
- Support engagement planning, budgeting, project economics, and resource management activities.
- Assist in developing reusable tools, methodologies, templates, and intellectual property that improve engagement delivery.
- Participate in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training activities.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 7+ years of management consulting experience or relevant industry experience focused on operations, supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, or performance improvement.
- Experience leading client workstreams and delivering complex transformation or operational improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Experience conducting business process assessments, process mapping, operational analysis, and stakeholder facilitation.
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Strong client service mindset and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50%.
Preferred Qualifications
- APICS/ASCM certifications (CPIM, CSCP)
- Lean Six Sigma certification
- PMP certification
- Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, Python, Tableau, or similar analytics tools
- Experience with ERP-enabled transformations, including SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of AI-enabled process automation, demand forecasting, optimization tools, and GenAI-based solutions
- Experience serving private equity-backed portfolio companies or supporting value creation initiatives
- MBA or advanced degree preferred

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $94,400 - $178,800
Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
