Position Summary

BPI Minerals is seeking an organized, motivated, and analytical Operations Coordinator to support the Director of Operations across multiple manufacturing facilities. This role will help drive operational excellence by coordinating projects, tracking key performance metrics, supporting plant operations, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.

This position supports BPI Minerals' operations and leadership team. It offers an outstanding opportunity for an individual looking to grow a career in manufacturing operations while working directly with company leadership and contributing to strategic operational initiatives across multiple sites.

Core Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Support daily plant operations and assist the Director of Operations with strategic initiatives.
  • Track and analyze KPIs related to production, maintenance, inventory, quality, safety, and operational performance.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision making.
  • Coordinate capital improvement (CAPEX) projects and monitor budgets, timelines, and progress.
  • Support maintenance planning and equipment reliability initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with project tracking and cross-functional coordination between operations, maintenance, quality, purchasing, and leadership.


Position Qualifications & Requirements

  • 3+ years of manufacturing or industrial operations experience.
  • Knowledge of material handling, crushing, screening, or bulk material handling operations preferred.
  • Experience in project management, including capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning and execution.
  • Knowledge of 5S, Six Sigma, OES, and Lean Manufacturing principles preferred.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and ISO 9001 quality systems.
  • Experience with SAP Business One or other ERP systems preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to travel regularly between company locations and project sites.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as operational needs require.


Compensation

  • Salary commensurate with experience.
  • Target compensation range: $80,000 - $100,000
