This person will assist in discovering new business opportunities and technology partnerships based on the company's open innovation strategy, working closely with senior leadership.
Job Description - Monitor and analyze display technologies, and adjacent industry developments; summarize findings into actionable reports for internal stakeholders
- Support identification of potential business opportunities, cooperation candidates, and novel application areas for LG Display's current and future products ? including preliminary outreach to technology partners
- Assist in screening business opportunities by researching market landscapes, benchmarking competitors, and risk assessment under senior guidance
- Research potential partners, innovative technologies, products, and services aligned with the company's open innovation strategy; prepare materials for opportunity reviews
- Support the preparation of collaboration proposals and partnership documentation
- Prepare technology/market briefings and reports
- Assist in coordinating schedules and protocol for executive meetings
- Comply with the company's policy and procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications - 3-5 years of experience in technology research or R&D; exposure to business development is a plus
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field (preferred)
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Self-motivated, curious, and comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (English/Korean) preferred
- Authorized to work for any U.S. employer
