Description

ALL4 is seeking an experienced, growth-minded Office Leader (OL) to lead the Philadelphia, PA Region. The Philadelphia OL will be responsible for leading and growing this established business unit consistent with the goals and objectives of the Northeast region and the broader organization. This individual has ownership of the strategic decisions that drive the success of the business unit, including client management and deliverables, staffing, new business development, regional marketing, office financials, and overall outcomes under the direction of the Northeast Regional Director. The OL may function in a dual role such as Project Manager, Technical Manager, or Directing Consultant and will be expected to maintain a regular in-office presence in ALL4's Kimberton, PA and Philadelphia, PA brick and mortar offices.

The Philadelphia OL is a seasoned environmental professional with significant technical knowledge who shares our vision and passion for helping clients and growing ALL4's regional presence. They are a self-motivated, coachable, growth-oriented individual with strong leadership and organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to problem-solve through complexity - someone who can drive the profitability and growth of the office, develop ALL4 project staff and teams, build strong client relationships, successfully manage complex projects, and identify business opportunities with existing and new clients. This individual works closely with clients in a strategic partnership supported by a foundation of authentic communication, personal ownership, and accountability.

Internally, the OL will embrace the concept of elite client engagement and quality. A proven people manager and excellent communicator, the Philadelphia OL will facilitate staff training and development, empower team members to own critical business functions, and communicate effectively across the office and company at large.

As ALL4's largest office and corporate headquarters, Philadelphia offers a strong foundation of long-standing client relationships and a deep bench of environmental professionals well-versed in complex permitting, compliance, modeling, and multimedia EHS projects. The Philadelphia OL will build on this foundation to drive the office's next phase of growth - expanding service offerings for existing clients and identifying new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Lead consistent with the qualities that define an ALL4 leader and in alignment with ALL4's Core Values and Leadership Foundations.
  • Act as the primary decision-maker, in collaboration with the Northeast Regional Director, regarding matters of office direction, planning, and execution.
  • Develop and manage the Philadelphia Office's annual key performance metrics in conjunction with ALL4 company-wide objectives; report the status of all critical business operations to the Regional Director and Executive Leadership Team.
  • Build on an established client base to drive the office's next phase of growth, expanding service offerings for existing clients and identifying new business opportunities across the region.
  • Create and mentor a team of project managers who are adept at building and sustaining strong client relationships that result in repeat business.
  • Drive business development - regularly demonstrate the ability to identify, assess, implement strategy, and close business opportunities following the ALL4 business development process.
  • Establish relationships with regional regulatory organizations; provide interpretation, review, and strategic analysis of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
  • Grow the office top-line revenue, maintain minimum revenue management targets, and meet annual utilization goals in alignment with the developed financial plan.
  • Drive professional development of staff, including technical expertise; mentor junior staff and exhibit ALL4's Core Values in all internal and external transactions.
  • Foster a culture that embodies ALL4 Core Values - one where employees seek and welcome continuous feedback, celebrate accomplishments, and invest in one another's growth.
  • Collaborate with ALL4 Corporate Leaders on overlapping business functions including recruiting, marketing, and sales; coordinate office participation in local trade groups and environmental organizations.
  • Conduct regular office meetings and participate in quarterly financial reviews with the Regional Director and Executive Leadership Team on the status of critical business operations.
  • Maintain an in-office presence in both the Kimberton, PA and Philadelphia, PA offices.

Qualifications
  • Engineering or applicable science degree with a minimum of ten years of experience in an environmental technical discipline.
  • Strong understanding of the consulting business model and the desire to define, predict, and manage financial performance across an organization.
  • Established track record of identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities with clients outside the existing portfolio, and growing those accounts into long-term, repeat business.
  • Proven ability to expand existing client relationships into new service areas and geographic locations, growing client scope and revenue.
  • Consistent success coordinating and mentoring project managers and other coordinators.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and develop future leaders, building bench strength across the office.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills, including strong decision-making skills regarding matters relating to office direction, planning, and execution.
  • Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to lead teams and problem-solve through complex, ambiguous situations.
  • Experienced in recruiting, hiring, training, and retaining successful, self-directed environmental consultants.
