In doing this, you will implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.Youre a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.Youre equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. Qualifications1. Graduate of an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards. 2. Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. 3. They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
