What You'll Do
As an Occupational Therapist, you'll help residents improve their functional abilities, independence, and quality of life through individualized, goal-oriented therapy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
- Help residents improve independence with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and functional mobility.
- Evaluate resident progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
- Supervise and support Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident care.
- Participate in Patient Care Conferences and Utilization Review meetings.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Provide education and training to residents, caregivers, and families.
- Assist with safe and effective discharge planning.
- Communicate with physicians regarding treatment updates, resident progress, and care recommendations.
Qualifications
- Current California Occupational Therapist (OT) license in good standing
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
