Tice Valley Post Acute is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team on a full-time basis.

Position Details
  • Position: Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Location: Tice Valley Post Acute
  • Pay Rate:$55.00-$60.00 per hour, DOE

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate residents' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide occupational therapy services to improve residents' strength, mobility, coordination, and independence with daily activities.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions based on residents' individual needs and care plans.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding, and other functional tasks.
  • Assess and address safety, mobility, and environmental needs.
  • Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Document evaluations, treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately and timely.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, CNAs, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, exercises, and strategies to support independence.
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and assistive devices when appropriate.
  • Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary meetings.
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies, professional standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Promote resident dignity, safety, independence, and overall quality of life.
  • Perform other occupational therapy-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Current and valid California Occupational Therapist license.
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
