Join an elite outpatient Hand Therapy OT team in one of the largest clinics in the Bronx, where you’ll treat a diverse, complex caseload across adult and pediatric orthopedics, while working closely with surgeons at Montefiore Medical Center and contributing to cutting-edge research in a highly specialized clinical environment. Qualifications

Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist Requirements: 

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (or ability to obtain in the state of practice)
  • Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
  • Basic computer skills
  • CPR and first aid certification required
  • Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) strongly preferred OR

    • CHT-eligible (minimum 4,000 hours of hand therapy experience and 3 years of practice), awaiting board examinationOR

    • Level II fieldwork in hand therapy, with relevant continuing education, and 1–2 years of outpatient hand therapy experience as a licensed OT, OR

    • New grads with Level II fieldwork in hand therapy with a a strong clinical interest in upper extremity rehabilitation and a commitment to pursuing advanced training and certification in hand therapy
  • Experience in orthopedic hand therapy treating both adult and pediatric patients is required

 

Compensation: $86K - $108K+ inclusive of productivity incentives, with additional compensation opportunities for certifications. Benefits include generous paid time off, medical, dental, vision, disability, and 401(K) with a 4% employer match.
