Full Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Engineer, configure, and optimize Splunk components (indexers, search heads, forwarders, deployment servers, etc.) to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability across all environments
  • Partner with application, security, and operations teams to design and implement searches, dashboards, reports, and alerts that provide actionable insights and support incident response.
  • Design and implement data onboarding for new sources, including inputs, parsing, field extractions, data models, and normalization to ensure data quality and consistency
  • Analyze and troubleshoot existing data pipelines to confirm data is being collected, parsed correctly, and providing value, while tracking and optimizing data volume to manage Splunk license consumption
  • Monitor and maintain the health of the observability infrastructure, implementing automation where possible for deployment, configuration management, and routine maintenance
