Description

Provides leadership in clinical problem solving, high risk patient process, internal and external incidents and codes, compliance standards and indentifies staff development and remediation needs. Represents entity and BHSF in the absence of senior leadership or as delegated. Provides support and direction to all hospital departments, collaborates closely with hospital leadership. Works closely with the staffing office to ensure that the 24 hour/7 day nursing staff needs meet budgeted standards of excellence. Oversees Flexible Staff from the Central Staffing Center during the assigned tour of duty. Collaborates with nursing leadership participating in performance improvement of the hospital wide continuum of care of patients to ensure quality, safety and patient and family centered care standards are met. Responsible for patient flow through the centralized prioritization of patients and staff placement per entity standards. Participates in committees as needed. Estimated salary range for this position is $96682.12 - $128587.22 / year depending on experience.
